    Did you know Autumn is the second best time of the year to sell a Green Lake house? We have the rush of summer vacations over and the routine of school back in session.  There are about 80 days before the rush of the holiday season is upon us and who doesn’t love those fall foliage colors before they drop to the ground.  Green Lake homes for sale really shine in this dazzling display of colors and nature. 

    But don’t take my word for it.  Here are your Green Lake Real Estate stats:

    Homes for sale in Green Lake that sold this month averaged $469.00 per square foot.  Remember this does not include garages or decks.

    Compare this to Green Lake homes that sold last year, October 2016, which was $371.00 per square foot.

    The sales volume in Seattle’s Green Lake neighborhood decreased year to year but the square footage price increased which signals (still) a shortage of inventory.  Currently there is a half of month worth of inventory in the neighborhood overall.  Last year at this time it was about the same actually.  The shortage month we had this year was June at three months of real estate inventory.  Wow!
